MANAGING YOUR RISK WITH INFORMANTS, UNDERCOVER AND DRUG INVESTIGATIONS

In conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Ft. Myers Police Department, Mr. Mazur will participate in the presentation of a one-day seminar for federal, state and local narcotics officers in the Ft. Myers area.  This seminar provides narcotics officers with critical information that enhances their ability to identify and manage the risks they face while conducting drug investigations and handling informants.

During the seminar, Mr. Mazur and other guest speakers will demonstrate to law enforcement officers that the professional management of informants is vital to preserve their integrity, career and future.  Several case scenarios will be showcased and studied by the attendees.  This presentation offers the do's and don'ts of handling informants and enlightens officers to the pitfalls of informant management that can otherwise promote unprofessional, unethical and/or illegal conduct.
