Managing Your Risk With Informants, Undercover and Drug Investigations
(The Slippery Slope To Destruction)

In conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Hillsborough County State Attorneys Office, Mr. Mazur will present a one-day seminar for federal, state and local narcotics officers in the Tampa Bay area.  This seminar provides narcotics officers with critical information that enhances their ability to confront the risks they face while conducting drug investigations and managing informants.

During the seminar, Mr. Mazur and other guest speakers demonstrate to law enforcement officers that the professional management of informants is vital to preserve their integrity, career and future.  Several case scenarios, including one that occurred in the Tampa Bay area will be showcased and studied by the attendees.  This presentation offers the do's and don'ts of handling informants and enlightens officers to the pitfalls of informant management that can lead them to engage in unprofessional, unethical and/or illegal conduct.
