Jeb Ferebee // Vice President
Jeb Ferebee is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has also attained a Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a recognition granted only to CPA’s who have successfully passed a rigorous exam and demonstrated a sufficient level of investigative experience. Mr. Ferebee has also obtained certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Shortly after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, Mr. Ferebee began his career as a Special Agent with the
IRS – Criminal Investigation Division where he conducted complex white collar and financial fraud investigations.
In 1991, Mr. Ferebee transferred to the Drug Enforcement Administration, where he conducted complex domestic and international drug and money laundering related investigations. As a Senior Special Agent, Mr. Ferebee directed all aspects of investigations and provided critical leadership. His efforts resulted in numerous convictions of high level drug traffickers involved in the command and control of criminal organizations, as well as the seizure of their illicit proceeds.
Following his tenure with DEA, Mr. Ferebee joined the newly formed office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). Beginning in 2010, Mr. Ferebee lived and worked in Afghanistan, assigned to the International Contract Corruption Task Force. During a two year engagement with the SIGAR, Mr. Ferebee primarily investigated matters involving corruption, bribery and defense contract frauds.
Mr. Ferebee became a Vice President of Chase & Associates in 2013. He specializes in conducting complex financial investigations, including defense contract fraud and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
